Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Kinex Entry LLC ("Kinex Entry", "we") for using the Kinex Entry app, the office console at office.kinexentry.com, and this website (together, "the service"). By making an account you accept them.
1. What the service is
Kinex Entry takes event entries from contestants and hands them to the event that is running the event. The event — its producer, secretary and committee — sets the rules: who is eligible, the fees, the draw, the results, the payout and any refunds. Kinex Entry records and carries out those rules; it does not make them. Each event's rules are shown on its listing before you enter.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information, and keep it current — the office reaches you at the phone and email on your account.
- You are responsible for what is done with your login. Keep the password to yourself.
- One person, one account. Entering in somebody else's name without their permission is grounds for removal.
- Youth contestants enter with a parent or guardian's involvement; the parent or guardian is responsible for the account.
3. Entries, fees and refunds
- An entry is a commitment to the event. Fees are set by the event and shown before you confirm.
- Whether a fee is refunded on withdrawal, and on what conditions (for example a doctor's or veterinarian's release), is the event's rule, shown on its listing. Kinex Entry applies that rule; it does not override it.
- Where Kinex Entry charges a service fee of its own, it is shown separately before you confirm and is not refundable.
- Entry fees paid by card are charged by Stripe on the account of the event's organizer, under Stripe's terms, and are paid to the organizer. Kinex Entry does not receive or hold entry fees and does not store card details. Refunds of entry fees are the organizer's to make.
4. The draw, results and payouts
The draw is produced by the event office using the service, from a recorded seed, so it can be rerun and shown to be fair. Results and payouts are entered by the event's secretary and are the event's official record. Disputes about a draw, a time, a score or a payout are resolved by the event under its own and its sanctioning association's rules, not by Kinex Entry.
5. Office access
Producers, secretaries and timers are given access to the office console after we verify who they are and the association cards they claim. Office users see contestants' contact details and documents for the events they work, and agree to use them only for running those events. Access can be withdrawn at any time for misuse.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Enter, withdraw or pay in another person's name without their permission
- Upload a document you know to be false
- Attempt to interfere with the draw, results or another account
- Scrape, copy or resell contestant information
7. What we are not responsible for
Kinex Entry provides the service as it is. We work to keep it available during events, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We are not responsible for an event's decisions, for its rules, for stock, arena conditions or anything that happens at the event, or for losses that follow from an entry, a withdrawal or a result. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the service fees you paid to Kinex Entry in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Ending an account
You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We can close an account that breaks these terms. Either way, results already published for events you competed in remain in those events' records.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the app's "What's new". Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States. Questions go to info@kinexentry.com.
